At 44, Yadira came to me after suffering many traumas in her life.  I met her just as she divorced, ending many years of living in an abusive marriage. She had severe stomach pain and emotional and mental breakdowns.  After working with me individually and attending my eight-week mind body medicine group, her stomach pain of many years disappeared and she became emotionally and mentally stable. With increased hope, health, and confidence she remarried and is in a healthy thriving relationship fulfilling her dream of owning a honey business.

At 15, Stephen was being bullied and missing a lot of school because of frequent stomach pain and diarrhea.  After my eight-week mind/body medicine group, he decreased his anxiety, depression, and stomach issues. Using the newfound skills, he was able to finish out the school year with increased health and confidence, and even started a website development business.

At 67, Shelly suffered from debilitating physical aches and pains as well as emotional and mental breakdowns from difficult family relationships. After working with me, using a combination of exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness techniques, she commented on how it changed her life. Her pain and depression decreased, and family relationships became more fulfilling as she began living a more positive and healthier lifestyle.

Bob’s life suddenly came to a halt at 76 when his kidney failed, and he had to stop practicing his life’s work and close his dental practice. After 3 months of lying in a hospital bed after a kidney transplant, his body and spirit had atrophied. While he was glad to be alive, he mourned his life as a dentist and his weakened physical state. When we began working together, he could barely get through a 40-minute workout, but through twice a week workouts, his strength and endurance increased and his spirits lifted. Five years later he is still going strong, consistently working out, discussing philosophical ideas, and cracking jokes while holding a plank. He found life can still be fulfilling as he focuses on his health, family and a new found creative sculpture hobby.
